HomeWarming and its sponsors and partners respects the privacy of its clients and is committed to protecting our clients’ privacy through responsible personal information management practices. This information will be collected, used, and disclosed according to the same policies and procedures as any other information provided to Efficiency Nova Scotia. Efficiency Nova Scotia may disclose personal information to third party agents for the purpose of assisting our organization to fulfill the purposes set out in this Policy. Efficiency Nova Scotia will not sell clients’personal information to third parties.

Clients may access their personal information, subject to the exceptions listed in PIPEDA, or request a correction of their personal information. The request must be in writing and contain sufficient detail to enable Efficiency Nova Scotia to identify your personal information to provide the information to you or to make the correction. A minimal fee may be charged for providing access to personal information and we will inform you of any applicable fee when your request is received. In most cases, a response will be provided within 30 business days, however, if a longer time is needed, Efficiency Nova Scotia will provide the client with a written notice stating the reasons for the extension.
6) Retention
Personal information provided by customers to Efficiency Nova Scotia will be kept no longer than is necessary to retain the information for legal or business purposes.
